At Pet Lovers Centre, we prioritize your pet’s holistic wellbeing and strive to make their grooming experience as safe, stress-free, and enjoyable as possible! We appreciate you taking the time to read our service terms and conditions before booking an appointment at your preferred branch.

PET SALON TERMS OF SERVICE:

1.    Consent-Based Grooming

a.    Pet Lovers Centre strictly values consent-based grooming to ensure the welfare, comfort, and safety of the pets in our care above the requirements for a visually pleasing or even complete groom.

b.    Pet Lovers Centre will not commence grooming if pets are deemed stressed or unmanageable to avoid any effect on the pet’s emotional health while in our trust. In relation, the process may take longer than committed, especially when pets are anxious due to factors related or not related to the grooming. Breaks will be taken in between the grooming to de-stress the pet.

c.    If the pets are deemed unmanageable or become too aggressive during grooming, the service may be stopped at any point.

2.    Health and Safety

a.    Pet Owners are required to bring the current vaccination record for their pet.

b.    Pet Owners must declare to Pet Lovers Centre any behavioral or medical conditions of their pet as underlying medical problems may be exposed or a current one may be aggravated during the grooming.

c.    Pet Lovers Centre cannot risk an infestation inside our pet salon or to other pets on-site. Pet Lovers Centre will reschedule grooming appointments for pets suspected of having fleas, ticks, lice, and or those exposed to distemper, rabies, or parvovirus for thirty (30) days or until cleared by a veterinarian.

d.    Pet Lovers Centre does not groom:

i.     Pregnant pets to avoid any forms of anxiety and stress that may cause early labor. If the customer is unable to inform us or is unaware that their pet is pregnant, Pet Lovers Centre or any of its employees is not to be held liable should complications arise.

ii.    Senior or ill pets may find grooming stressful, and it can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate a current one during or after the grooming.

e.    Pet Lovers Centre takes all necessary precautions and care while grooming; in the event of accidents, the pet owner consents to Pet Lovers Centre administering emergency first aid or urgent veterinary care for the pet. All costs for any treatment or veterinary services at a veterinary clinic chosen by Pet Lovers Centre will be the responsibility of the customer. Pet Lovers Centre will always inform the pet owner, either right away or upon collection, of any such occurrences. Pet Lovers Centre will not be held liable for injury or death arising from a pre-existing condition.

f.     Pet owner must declare to Pet Lovers Centre about any sensitivities or triggers that could cause their pets to feel stressed, anxious, or aggressive during grooming

g.    Pet Lovers Centre will use a muzzle or fit an Elizabeth Collar on any pet that bites or tries to bite in order to proceed with grooming. If a biting incident occurs, the client consents to halt the grooming session to ensure the safety of the pet, our groomer, and anyone else nearby. In these cases, the customer consents to cover the complete expense of the grooming service

h.    Should the pet’s aggression result in injuries or property damage, the pet owner agrees to cover all associated medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, loss of income, and damage to equipment

3.    Pet Assessment

a.    Pet Lovers Centre will evaluate your pet’s skin, fur, ears, nails, dental health, medical issues, and behavior to appropriately cater to your pet’s requirements before the service starts.

b.    Pet Lovers Centre is not liable for any cuts, irritation or other injuries caused by shaving off or de-matting a pet, nor for other injuries that may have been hidden by matted hair, and the desired look for your dog may not be achieved as a result of poor coat condition.

c.    Pet Lovers Centre is not responsible for skin changes, coat regrowth, or changes after the grooming service.

d.    The pet owner should examine their pet post-grooming. Any issues should be communicated to the groomer and the store officer on duty prior to exiting the store premises. Any grievances expressed after the service and off the store premises will be investigated according to Pet Lovers Centre’s standard procedures.

4.    Prices

a.    Additional fees may be added or apply based on, but not limited to the following:

i.      Pet’s Actual Size

ii.     De-matting

iii.    Flea treatment

b.    If grooming must be halted because of the pet’s behavior or health problems, the pet owner consents to pay the total fee.

c.    No refunds are given for any reason.

d.    Pet Lovers Centre accepts payment by cash, card, e-wallet, or online bank transfer.

5.    Appointments, Cancellations, and Pick-up:

a.    Customer must be at the branch 15 minutes before their schedule. Arriving beyond the appointment schedule will result in automatic appointment cancellation.

Rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

Customers must pick up their pet within 30 minutes of receiving Pet Lovers Centre’s advise about their pet.

b.    A boarding fee of P100 per hour will be charged to the customer for late pick-up.

Pet Lovers Centre may cancel appointments due to weather, sickness, equipment failure, etc. Pet Lovers Centre will reach out to pet owner ahead of time to set a new appointment.

6.    Use of Media:

Pet Lovers Centre may take photos and/or videos of your pet during the grooming appointment. The pet owner consents Pet Lovers Centre to utilize photos and/or videos of their pet for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to, use on the website or social media sites. These media remain the property of Pet Lovers Centre. The customer will not be entitled to any compensation for their use.

7.    Hold Harmless Agreement:

By making a booking with us, you agree to hold Pet Lovers Centre, its owners, employees, and groomers harmless from any damage, loss, or claim arising from any condition of the pet, either known or unknown to them. You understand and agree that the terms of this agreement can change at any time, without notice, and will overwrite any prior versions. This clause applies to all pets being groomed.

VET CLINIC TERMS OF SERVICE:

1.    Manila East Veterinary Care (MEVC), Pet Lovers Centre’s authorized veterinary care provider, shall perform diagnostics, therapeutic and surgical procedures as necessary and advisable for treatment and maintenance for pet’s health and wellbeing. The nature of each service will be described to pet owners’ satisfaction, and while pet owners expect all procedures to be done to the best abilities of the professional staff.

2.    MEVC cannot ethically or professionally guarantee the result or cure for their pet’s condition.

3.    MEVC staff shall provide veterinary services as required or as in emergency circumstances to follow through will such procedure as necessary for the wellbeing of pet on a continuing basis until further advised in writing.

4.    All charges incurred at the time of release of pet must be settled by the pet owner.

5.    Taking pictures or video recordings of patients or MEVC staff without their consent is generally prohibited, and this is in accordance to Data Privacy Act of 2012 and hospital policies
